Once you’ve experienced something amazing, it’s hard to settle for average! The hive was born out of our passion for craft beer and artisan coffee. We had craved somewhere that was local and independent that we could go to grab a coffee during the day or a beer in the evening that was brewed by a small batch UK brewery… There wasn’t anywhere! That became the seed of our idea - to combine these two social pillars and bring them together.

Our ethos was simple, create a welcoming place that we would want to visit. Source the best coffee we could find the best beer from the UK's finest independent breweries, serve English cheese and British charcuterie. Rotate our beers on tap so there's always something new and stock our bottle shop with the best the UK has to offer.

I hope we’ve done it, but you can be the judge? We welcome everyone to the Hive no matter who you are (dogs and cats – leave your beef at the door) or what you like to drink, but hopefully it’s coffee and craft beer 😊
